# Halaback

> Halaback is a free, private rewards wallet for customers and a customer-retention app for local businesses in India. Customer privacy is its key promise: shops never see a customer's name or phone number, and every account is a verified phone number. Customers pay a shop the usual way, scan the shop's Halaback QR code, enter the bill amount, and the shop accepts. Each accepted visit counts toward rewards the shop has set up. One app works for both customers and sellers.

Halaback does not take or process payments. It only records visits and rewards. It runs in the browser on any phone (no install needed) and signs people in with their phone number and a one-time code.

## For customers

- Free, always. Sign in with a phone number.
- Private: shops never see a customer's name or phone number, only a private customer code that differs at every shop.
- Scan a shop's QR at the counter after paying, type the bill amount, and the shop accepts it. The visit then counts.
- See every reward from every shop in one place: ready to use, almost there, and expired.
- Show a reward code at the counter to use it. Cashback and store credit collect in a wallet per shop.
- Find shops and their offers with Explore: search by name, category, service or city, or use "Near me".
- Levels per shop: New (first visit), Regular (3 visits), Loyal (10 visits).

## For sellers (shops, clinics, hotels, freelancers)

- Set up in about two minutes: name, category, services, city, logo.
- Create several offers at once and group them into programs (reward sequences), for example "Dining club" and "Stay rewards" for a hotel.
- Ways to earn: after a number of visits, after a total spend, on the first visit (welcome), cashback on every bill, or bring a friend.
- What customers get: a free item, rupees or percent off, store credit, cashback, a coupon code, buy one get one, a gift, or anything custom.
- Purchase types (for example Room stay, Restaurant, Spa) and bill ranges decide which offers a visit counts toward. The customer picks the type and the seller can correct it when accepting.
- Accept or reject each visit with one tap. The live QR changes every minute, so visits only count in person.
- See customers who have not come back and send them a win-back reward. Announce new offers to past customers.
- Plans: a 7-day free trial (100 customers, 1 active offer), then Starter ₹499/month (100 customers, 1 offer), Growth ₹699/month (500 customers, 3 offers) or Pro ₹999/month (1,000 customers, 10 offers). A yearly plan costs 11 months (one month free). Paid with any UPI app. Businesses with more than 1,000 customers can request a call for special pricing (Business plan).
- Integrations (early access, opening to a few businesses first): a special plan to connect Halaback to a shop's POS or billing machine, billing or accounting software, website, online store or app through the Halaback API: ₹0.01 per API call (calls into Halaback and updates Halaback sends out both count), minimum ₹1,000 a month.
- Mass reach (campaigns): shops book a picture notification with their logo for their own customers (by visits or lapsed) or for Halaback shoppers within 1 to 25 km. They see the reach and price before paying (priced per person reached), choose the send time, and Halaback approves it first. Each shopper gets at most one campaign a day and three a week from all shops. Shops see counts, never who.

## Common questions

- Do customers pay through Halaback? No. They pay the seller directly by cash, UPI or card.
- Is there an app to install? No. It works in any phone browser and can be added to the home screen.
- What stops fake visits? Two-way verification: the customer signs in with a code sent to their own phone (WhatsApp) and enters the amount paid; the cashier checks it against the payment and accepts, fixes or rejects it. Also a QR that changes every minute and one-time reward codes.
- How are rewards given? They are earned, not picked at random: a reward unlocks when the customer fulfils what the shop set (visits, spend, a first visit or bringing a friend). The customer shows the unlocked reward at the counter and uses it before it expires; Halaback reminds them first.
- Where is it available? Anywhere in India with a phone and a browser.
